Have you been wondering about your next adventure? How about four nights in a cabin on the coast of Maine? The Octagon is a one room, two-person cabin nestled in the Cundy's Harbor woods mere feet from the Quahog Bay in Harpswell, ME. This restored writer's cabin with both a wood stove and baseboard heat and a kitchenette, queen size Murphy bed, a full bathroom, and a cozy spot to decompress, all with floor to ceiling views of Fish House Cove. Watch the lobster boats at work, the sailboats tack, and the landscape change as the 12-foot tide rises and falls with bald eagles, cormorants, osprey, and eiders keeping you company. Harpswell's 218 miles of coastline is filled with many opportunities to get out and surround yourself in nature. The property is next to Little Ponds Preserve, a perfect spot for bird watching and exploring the coastal Maine forest. It also provides easy access to many of the wonderful spots Maine has to offer. Choose to hit the amazing Portland food scene, stroll Bath's beautiful Main Street, get lost in the Maritime Museum, walk the paths at the Coastal Main Botanical Gardens, visit the Bowdoin College Art Museum in Brunswick, or simply settle in and drink in the peace and calm.
